Vocational Evaluation

Description:

Vocational Evaluation is designed to help clients identify appropriate goals, select educational training programs and supports required to assist the clients in achieving an optimal independent living style and quality of life. The evaluation is used to determine the feasibility of an individual obtaining and maintaining competitive employment, determine a direction and goal, and to identify supports which will be necessary for the individual to successfully reach his/her vocational goal. Vocational Evaluation is a disability neutral program.

 

Entry criteria:

To be eligible for Vocational Evaluation an individual must meet the following criteria:-

  • Must be a resident of Pinellas or Pasco County
  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Must have a documented disability
  • Must be eligible for services through the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation

Referral process:

All referrals must be made through the local offices of the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.

Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
