Description:
The Group Home Program provides a moderately structured, supervised, group home setting with skills teaching, rehabilitation and treatment services.
Entry criteria:
To be eligible for entry into the Group Home Program, an individual must meet the following criteria:
- Be a Pinellas or Pasco County resident.
- Must be 18 - 54 years of age
- Present psychological symptomatology consistent with ICD-9-CM and DSM IV (Axis I ) diagnosis of a major mental illness.
Benefits from 24-hour supervision and active support to live successfully in the community, Participate in self-care and treatment and to manage the effects of his/her illness
- Have the capacity for active participation in the treatment program.
- Be able to reliably cooperate with the rules and supervision provided and to contract reliably for safety in the supervised residence.
- Agree to voluntary admission and sign authorization for treatment.
- Express and demonstrate motivation towards rehabilitation and recovery.

Hours of operation: Facilities are in operation 24 hours per day.
