Supervised Apartment Program
Description:
The Supervised Apartment Program provides an apartment setting with 24 - hour staffing which allows consumers to learn and practice independent living skills in a supportive, supervised setting.
Entry criteria:
To be eligible for entry into the Supervised Apartment Program, an individual must meet the following criteria:
- Be a Pinellas or Pasco County resident.
- Be 18 - 54 years of age
- Present psychological symptomatology consistent with ICD-9-CM and DSM IV (Axis I ) diagnosis of a major mental illness.
- Requires supervision and active support to live successfully in the community.
- Able to participate in self-care and treatment and to manage the effects of his/her illness.
- Able to cook, and maintain a healthy, clean living environment

Hours of Operation: Facilities are in operation 24 hours a day.
