Description:
Provides Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) recipients with the assessments, counseling and vocational services needed to obtain and maintain employment.
Entry criteria:
To be eligible for TANF Services an individual must meet the following criteria:
- 18 years of age or older.
- Resident of Pinellas County.
- Must receive temporary cash assistance or receive food stamps for children in the home (Dept. of Children & Families).
- Must have mental health Issues.
- Must be certified by Dept. of Children & Families District office.
Referral process:
Referrals may be made by:
- Dept. of Children & Families Service Provider Outreach Worker
- Regional Workforce Board Designee
- Family Member or the individuals themselves.
Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Services are provided to consumers according to their work schedule.
