Section 8 HOPWA
Description:
The Section 8 Housing Opportunities for People With Aids (HOPWA) Program provides safe, decent, affordable housing for individuals who are HIV positive or have AIDS. Rental assistance as well as utility reimbursement payments (URP) are provided to eligible Pinellas County residents.
Entry Criteria:
To be eligible for entry into the Section 8 HOPWA Program, an individual must be:
- HIV positive or have AIDS
- low income
- referred by a Case Management Agency who has current status on file
Referral Process:
Referrals must come from a Case Management Agency who has the individual's current status on file. For more information, please call the management office at ((727) 824-4819 ext. 5102.

Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
