Jingle Bell Run - A St. Petersburg Holiday Tradition
Imagine thousands of people walking, running and jogging along St. Petersburg’s magnificent waterfront. It’s nighttime, the course glows with hundreds of luminaries and the sound of sleigh bells fills the air. Men, women and children join in the holiday spirit at Boley Centers’ 26th Annual Jingle Bell Run, sponsored in part by the City of St. Petersburg and The St. Petersburg Times. This year’s event will take place on Wednesday, December 10th, 2008 at 7:30 PM at The Pier in downtown St. Pete. Thousands came out to take part in the festivities that help support Boley Centers as they strive to make a difference in the lives of people with mental disabilities, the homeless and youth.
The St. Petersburg Pier bustles with carolers, spectators, participants and local musicians.
