Knowledge of mental illness, counseling, behavior modification, medications, rehabilitation and treatment, substance abuse preferred.
Must have a valid Florida drivers license, auto and insurance.

Summary Description:

This position provide a variety of services for clients living in residential facilities, such as: training in living skills, transportation to and from activities, counseling, medication monitoring, housekeeping assistance and keeping documentation.
 
Required Education & Experience:
 
Associates degree preferred; A high school diploma may qualify with relevant experience; Human Services or related major preferred; Bachelor's degree may substitute for required experience. Education must be from an accredited school, college, or university.
With an Associates degree, must have a minimum of one year paid experience in behavioral health care; with a high school diploma, must additionally have 2 years of paid experience in behavioral health care. Must possess own transportation vehicle and own (current) automobile insurance.

Completion of certification as Behavioral Health Technician (CBHT)
 
Compensation:
 
FT 40 hrs / week: $23,000.00/year - ($11.05/hour)

Bachelor's degree preferred. An Associate-s degree (60 credit hours) may qualify with relevant experience and certification as a Behavioral Health Technician (CBHT). Education must be from an accredited school, college, or university. 
 
A minimum of one year of paid experience in human services is required for all staff. With an Associate-s degree must have an additional two (2) years of experience working with adults who have a severe mental health and/or substance use disorders. Knowledge of mental illness, substance abuse issues, counseling techniques, behavior modification, and rehabilitation and treatment preferred.
 
Must possess a valid Florida driver's license, own transportation vehicle and auto insurance.
